The Why Behind Resilient Hope

People who face different illnesses, disabilities and challenges can often times be overlooked, mistreated and counted out before they even get a chance to try. It can be easy to feel less than and hopeless when you are facing trials of various kinds. God has given me so much compassion for this particular group of people (and people in general), because of what I have gone through in my own life. As I’ve journeyed through life with The Lord, He has led me to start a ministry that will allow people to no longer be labeled by the world...an illness, sickness, disease, or disorder. Instead they will discover their new nature in Christ; developing a resilient heart, full of hope that will carry them victoriously through life’s journey!

Meet the Founder: Briana Johnson

Hey there! A little bit about me:

I was born three months premature and weighed 2lbs & 13oz. As a result, I was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. Cerebral palsy effects people in various ways; for me it effects my mobility and I have used a walker/wheelchair to get around my entire life. Dealing with physical limitations can definitely make things more challenging, but overcoming obstacles make the victories that much sweeter!

I accepted Jesus as my Lord Savior at the age of fourteen and soon after getting saved, I felt that The Lord was leading me into full time ministry in the future. I graduated from Southeastern University with my Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and although I obtained this degree, God completely changed my plans and redirected my path. He lead me to further my studies at River University, where I graduated with my second Bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies. During this time, The Lord solidified the call He had given me years back to enter into full time ministry. Now, I travel locally and abroad sharing the love of Jesus with others; inviting them to enter into a relationship with Christ and experience the lasting freedom that is found in Him!

Lastly just a few fun/random facts: I really enjoy traveling, writing, being surprised (in a good way), laughing and eating pizza! I look forward to connecting with you!
